GraphFree 1.01 (24 Jun 1999) |
2 |
|
3 |
GraphFree stores the used space on your hard disc(s) and the current time in |
4 |
a CSV file every time you run it, so that you can create a graph showing how |
5 |
your hard disc is filling up. |

Usage |
10 |
|
11 |
To set up GraphFree, first click MENU over the !GraphFree icon in a |
12 |
directory, and choose App. !GraphFree -> Help from the menu. You may have |
13 |
done this already. The Discs directory should open. Next, double click on the |
14 |
Discs file in this directory. Put the paths of each of your hard discs into |
15 |
this file, like the examples there. |
16 |
|
17 |
Then double-click on !GraphFree to ensure that it is set up correctly. A |
18 |
CSV file should be created inside the Discs directory for each disc in the |
19 |
Discs file. Each line in the file contains the date, the internal system time |
20 |
(centiseconds since 1900), and the used space on the disc (in |
21 |
bytes). This CSV file can be loaded into a graphing program or a spreadsheet |
22 |
and columns 2 and 3 graphed. |
23 |
|
24 |
The best way to get a good graph is to place GraphFree into your boot |
25 |
sequence. If you have a !Boot application, place it into the |
26 |
!Boot.Choices.Boot.Tasks directory. |
